of A.B. Frost and Ogden Pleissner, Peter Corbin has
established himself as one of the finest American sporting
artists of his generation. But while his reputation is based
primarily on his meticulously composed scenes of sport -
fly fishing and wing shooting in particular - the paintings
collected in his portfolio reveal the full range of his talent,
the stunning breadth of his reach and vision. Peter Corbin's work is in the permanent collection of The National Art Museum of Sport, The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and The American Museum of Fly Fishing. He has been chosen as the Atlantic Salmon Federation Artist of the Year four times and as a Ducks Unlimited Sponsor and Companion Artist. He has published prints for The Atlantic Salmon Federation, The Anglers' Club of New York, The American Museum of Fly Fishing and private clubs. |
